THE SOCIAL CARD

CLIENT SERVICES AGREEMENT

(Coaching & Matchmaking Services)

 

This Client Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between:

The Social Card (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us”), and

Client (“you,” “your”),

effective as of the date of acceptance.

 

 

1. Scope of Services

The Social Card provides relationship-focused services, which may include one or more of the following, as selected by the Client:

  • Relationship and dating coaching (1:1 or group)

  • Dating readiness and personal development support

  • Matchmaking facilitation (where applicable)

  • Communication, boundary-setting, and mindset coaching

  • Related resources, exercises, and guidance

 

Specific services, duration, and fees will be outlined in the Client’s selected package, proposal, or onboarding documentation and incorporated by reference into this Agreement.

 

2. Coaching Relationship Disclaimer

Client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Coaching is not therapy, counseling, legal advice, or medical advice

  • The Social Card does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions

  • Coaching is a collaborative, self-directed process

  • Client is fully responsible for their decisions, actions, and outcomes

 

If Client is experiencing mental health distress, trauma, or requires therapeutic support, they agree to seek care from a licensed professional.

 

3. No Guarantees or Promises

Client understands and agrees that:

  • Results in dating, relationships, or matchmaking cannot be guaranteed

  • No promise is made regarding compatibility, chemistry, outcomes, or relationship success

  • Matchmaking services (if included) are facilitative, not determinative

 

Success depends on multiple factors outside the control of The Social Card, including Client effort, honesty, timing, and third-party participation.

 

4. Client Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

  • Provide honest, accurate, and complete information

  • Communicate respectfully and in good faith

  • Attend sessions prepared and on time

  • Engage in the process with openness and personal accountability

  • Refrain from harassment, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

 

Failure to uphold these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of services without refund.

 

5. Fees, Payments & Refunds

  • Fees are disclosed prior to engagement and must be paid according to the agreed schedule

  • Sessions not canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be forfeited

  • Packages are non-refundable once services begin, unless otherwise stated in writing

  • Unused sessions expire after the agreed service period

 

The Social Card reserves the right to update pricing for future services.

 

6. Confidentiality

The Social Card agrees to maintain client confidentiality, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or where there is a reasonable belief of harm to the Client or others.

 

Client understands that confidentiality does not extend to group coaching settings or interactions involving third parties.

 

7. Matchmaking-Specific Terms

Where matchmaking services are provided, Client acknowledges that:

  • Introductions are based on available information and mutual interest

  • Participation of other individuals is voluntary

  • The Social Card is not responsible for the conduct of third parties

  • Client assumes all risks related to meetings, communication, and interactions

 

Client understands that matchmaking services are not continuous and are dependent on availability, timing, and mutual interest within the client pool.

 

The Social Card does not perform background checks unless explicitly stated.

 

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice.

The Social Card reserves the right to terminate immediately if Client engages in:

  • Disrespectful or abusive behavior

  • Dishonesty or misrepresentation

  • Behavior inconsistent with the values or safety standards of The Social Card

 

Termination does not entitle Client to a refund unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Social Card shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in services.

Client agrees that total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for services.

 

10. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, exercises, and content provided remain the intellectual property of The Social Card and may not be shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

 

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Illinois.

 

12. International & Global Client Participation

The Social Card is a United States–based business. Client acknowledges and agrees that services are provided remotely and are deemed to be delivered in the United States, regardless of Client’s physical location.

 

Client voluntarily elects to participate in services from outside the United States, where applicable, and assumes responsibility for compliance with any local laws or regulations that may apply to their participation.

 

The Social Card makes no representations regarding the applicability of local laws, cultural norms, or legal standards outside the United States. Services are not intended to provide legal, medical, psychological, or regulatory advice specific to any jurisdiction outside the United States.

 

13. International Use

The Social Card operates from the United States. Access to the website and services from jurisdictions where such access is illegal is prohibited.

 

Users who access the site from outside the United States do so at their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

 

14. Force Majeure

The Social Card shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, illness, technology failures, government actions, or interruptions of internet or payment services.

 

15. Entire Agreement and Severability

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior discussions or representations.

 

If any provision of this Agreement is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

 

Client may not assign or transfer this Agreement or any services purchased without the prior written consent of The Social Card.

 

16. Electronic Acceptance & Records

Client agrees that electronic acceptance of this Agreement constitutes a legally binding signature.

 

Client consents to the use of electronic records, checkboxes, timestamps, and payment confirmations as evidence of acceptance and agreement.

 

17. Acceptance

By signing below or electronically accepting this Agreement, Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to all terms.
